Former Governor Becomes Olubadan Designate

A Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Rasheed Ladoja will soon be crowned as the Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Ibadan Chieftaincy arrangement which has been in existence for over 300 years, remains the structure of selecting various Olubadan title.

Senator Ladoja has been a politician for forty years, representing the people in the hallow chambers at the Federal level before he was elected as the Governor of Oyo State but destiny does not permit him to complete his tenure as a result of some unresolved issues with some power brokers in South West Nigeria.

Few years in office he was able to embark on critical projects that has laid the foundation for good governance at the pacesetter state and set the record straight for others to follow.

Stakeholders in Ibadan believe strongly that the former Governor will be able to use his wealth of his connections both locally and internationally to upscale Ibadan to the global limelight through programs and policies that will engender even development for rapid growth across the land.
